The '3D' refers to the central textile fibre layer which is between the turf and EVA rubber base. This 3 dimensional aspect means the mat is design to absorb the club head impact, which both protects your wrists and clubs, and creates a more realistic fairway feel.

What is the difference between the SPG-8, SPG-7 and SPG-5?

The only difference between each is the size. The SPG-8 is 8 feet x 8 feet (2.4m x 2.4m), perfect for a simulator set-up. The SPG-7, our most popular net, is 7 feet x 7 feet (2m x 2m) and the SPG-5 is 5 feet x 5 feet, ideal for smaller areas such as an apartment or balcony.

Is it difficult to set up and take down?

No, with Spornia's pop up technology you can set your net up and take it down in seconds. This is one of the main reasons people love the Spornia nets. They’re portable, you don’t need a dedicated area so you can use your net anywhere, anytime!

Will the nets take Driver?

Yes, the nets can take any club including Driver. The nets are designed to take a beating, they will hold up to even the most rigorous of practice sessions. You will have the confidence to hit thousands of balls.

Pro Long Drivers such as our own PGA Pro and Australasian Long Drive Champion Steffan Scutti (403yds) and World Long Drive competitor Matt Nicholls (434yds) use Spornia nets for practice.

What if I shank the ball?

We all have the occasional shanks but we stock side extension nets which increases the size of the hitting area and adds more safety to manage this.

What are the dimensions and weight of the nets?

The Spornia golf practice nets are quite large:

- SPG-7: 2.1m x 2.1m x 2.1m high (7ft) (+ Roof extends 150mm to the height if necessary but it's important to note that the roof extension is flexible, and can bend upwords or downwards) 10kg

- SPG-8: 2.4m x 2.4m x 2.4m. (8ft) (+ Roof extends 200mm to the height if necessary but it's important to note that the roof extension is flexible, and can bend upwords or downwards) 15kg

- SPG-5: 1.6mm x 1.69m x 1.9m high (+ Roof extends 100mm to the height if necessary but it's important to note that the roof extension is flexible, and can bend upwords or downwards) (5ft) 7kg

Great net, easy to set up

Convenient and sturdy

The Spornia net is simple to set up and fold down after use. Its shape means it collects and returns the balls you hit to one spot, rather than you having to chase them around the back yard. It's also very sturdy and will withstand lots of shots being hit will all your clubs.

Bought the larger SPG 8 Net. Very easy to put up and take down. Side nets are great. Bought the white out screen and will set up as a portable simulator. The Mat is great and highly recommend it

Firstly I would like to thank Spornia for their prompt attention to delivery I had expected to wait at least a week but it was delivered within two days
I have used the net and found it so easy on set up and dismantling the unit is a breeze the noise off impact of the ball is really quite compared to other nets I have used

Fantastic practise net!

This is a fantastic practise net, I usually regularly to play sims and driving ranges with my Garmin Approach R10. The net itself is very sturdy, I can do full drives into it. Very quick and easy to setup and pack down, it wouldn't take me more than a minute.

Far better than expectations

Upgraded to the SPG-8 from a cheaper net and didn't expect the difference to be this significant.

Why buy anything else. Very sceptical when I was buying the net. Upon receiving my order, boy was I wrong. Heavy, well built, tough net and borders. Even the hitting fabric ooze with quality. Very well worth the police I paid for it. I've bought heaps of other nets before and the quality does not come close. Trust me, stop wasting your money on cheaper nets. You're saving in the long run.

Save the game

Net came on time, is easy to assemble and dismantle. Getting used to hitting into a net in my small backyard which is taking a little time.
I'm sure it will eventually do the job I purchased it for. The grandkids love it.

Spornia SPG-7 Golf Practice Net

Very happy with my SPG-7 practice net. The net is as described very easy to put up and take down and looks very robust. I've been using it for just over a week now and have found no issues with it at all. I fully expect it to last a long time.
